ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday submitted adjournment motion over Panama Leaks case verdict in National Assembly secretariat.

According to details, it has been stated in the adjournment motion that the moral position of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has weakened after the verdict of Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan, and this movement should be brought under discussion instead of regular proceedings.

The five-member bench of SC had ordered to constitute joint investigating team (JIT) against Nawaz Sharif in Panama Leaks case decision.

Two of the five judges branded Sharif “dishonest” and said he should be disqualified, but they were outnumbered as three judges ordered further investigations.

The decision comprising of 540 pages was announced by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa whereas other members of the bench that included Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Sh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan were also present on the occasion.
