Decision has been taken to construct a 100-bed tehsil headquarters hospital in Rawat and an approval has been accorded by P&D chairman in this respect.
According to reports, the decision was taken during a meeting here which was attended by Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner Talat Mehmood Gondal.
After complete consideration, this project was approved by the chairman for construction.
Deputy Commissioner Talat Mehmood said that this 100 beds hospital would cost Rs 714 million and tenders of this project will be floated soon after issuance of minutes of the meeting.
Project will be assigned to Department C and W. The construction of this hospital in Rawat will ensure better health facilities to people residing in rural areas, the deputy commissioner said.
