KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will hold a protest rally against the Federal Government in Karachi today at 3 P.M, as per reports.

The rally is going to be held on one of the city’s busiest roads, M.A Jinnah road. Another such protest sit-in has been scheduled by the party for April 30th in Hyderabad.

Security has been increased by the local govt to handle any possible unpleasant situation. Traffic arrangements have been completed for the rally. The corridor-III road will be closed for the public.

Former president Asif Zardari, Co-chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party has consistently blamed the federal government for being involved in the disappearance of his two close aides, who went missing earlier this month. He announced a couple of days later that the PPP would launch a protest drive and stage sit-ins across Sindh, if the “missing” aides were not produced in court within the next 24 hours.
