HYDERABAD: SSP Hyderabad Irfan Baloch on Wednesday directed the police officials to ensure implementation of CrPC Section 144 to help the authorities curb cheating in the board examinations.
The SSP had directed all the station house officers (SHOs) to ensure that the shops providing photocopy services near the examination centres remained closed, said Police Spokesman Mazhar Shani
The SHOs were also instructed to keep persons other than students away from the examination centres, while strict security around the centres would also have to be maintained, the spokesman said.
More than 108,000 students of classes XI and XII are appearing in the exams being conducted by Hyderabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
