PPP demands probe into Imran Khan’s bribe allegation

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party has demanded that a proper investigation should be conducted into the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan’s Rs.10 billion bribe allegation.

Senator Saeed Ghani has urged Imran Khan to reveal the name of the person who offered him a bribe to stay quiet over Panama Leaks case, as Rs10 billion is not a petty amount.

Earlier, addressing participants at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) in Peshawar, Imran Khan claimed that he was offered Rs 10 billion by the PML-N government to hold his silence over the panama scandal case.

He assured the gathering that he and his party would continue to pursue the PML-N government for the resignation of the prime minister.

Imran Khan also invited people to participate in PTI’s protest rally to be held in Islamabad on Friday.
