ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) is sending eight employees to perform Hajj at the board’s expense.
The PSB management organised a Hajj draw ceremony on Tuesday, a press release said.
Inter Provincial Coordination Federal Minister and Pakistan Sports Board President Mian Riaz Husain Pirzada, attended the ceremony as a chief guest.
PSB Director General Dr Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera, Deputy Director General (Admn) Mansoor Ali Khan, Director (E&C) Muhammad Azam Dar, other officers and staff members were also present on the occasion.
The lucky winners of the draw included one officer and seven other employees.
The winners include Women Cell Assistant Director Shazia Ejaz, Junior Hockey Coach Arshad Mehmood, Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) Saroof Khan, Naib Qasid Muhammad Nadeem, Naib Qasid Shujaat Ali, PSB Headquarter’s mali Sohail Raza, Islamabad and Computer Operator Cum Office Assistant from Lahore Centre Imrana Yasmin, Naib Qasid from Quetta Centre Muhammad Iqbal.
The federal minister congratulated the winners and wish for
their safe journey to perform the religious duty of Hajj.
