Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that the last four years of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, are an example of transparency, while addressing a PML-N delegation here on Monday.

He said that the PML-N government has made development projects at a low cost and at a high rate. The CM added that the transparency maintained in the projects was being acknowledged by international organisations.

Chastising those accusing the PML-N of corruption, he said, that they should peep in their own conscience first. He said that previous governments looted national resources ruthlessly.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Pervez Musharraf, who raised slogan ‘Pakistan First’, set records in plundering.

He said that politics of sit-ins was another way of hindering the country’s progress. He said that enlightened people will vote for politics of transparency and honesty in 2018 elections.
