University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences team won All Punjab Drama and Mime competitions, on the topic “Peace, Tolerance and Harmony”, under the aegis of the Provincial Information and Culture Department. The team of Government College University Lahore secured second position while that of Lahore College for Women University secured third position.
Cash prizes of Rs 100 thousand, Rs 75 thousand and Rs 50 thousand were awarded to the winning teams, respectively.
University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences team also won mime competition while Punjab University team remained second. The winning teams were given cash prizes of Rs. 50 thousand and Rs. 25 thousand respectively.
National College of Arts won the prize for the best actor on individual performance, Government College University won the prize of best actress, University of Sargodha won the prize for Assistant Actor, Government College University Lahore won the prize for best Assistant Actress, Punjab University won the prize for best comedian, Lahore College for Women University won the prize for the Villain role, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences won the prize for best production, University of Gujrat won the technical expertise award, Government College University won the award for the best set, best makeup and best props , and University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences won the award for the best script
In mime competitions, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences won the award for the best props, University of Engineering won the award for the best makeup and Punjab University won the award for the best production.
Government College University Lahore team won six awards while University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences won five awards. Additional Secretary Information and Culture Saman Rai distributed prizes among students on behalf of PUKAR.
