LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President and former Prime Minister Shujaat Hussain on Thursday said that after the verdict of the Supreme Court Nawaz Sharif has lost the right to govern, he should quit the office.

He said this, while talking to media along with Senator Kamil Ali Agha, MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema, Mohammad Basharat Raja, Dr Khalid Ranjha, Syed Dilawar Abbas and Ajmal Khan Wazir.

Shujat Hussain said that two learned judges had disqualified the prime minister on not being “Sadiq and Ameen” while three other judges were not satisfied with the Sharif’s defence.

He said that the judges talked about a further investigation and the prime minister has not been given a clean chit.

The prime minister should have morally resigned way earlier, he said, adding, the ministers had not read the order but distributed sweets and chanted slogans.

Shujaat Hussain further said that he would certainly like to talk about Imran Khan here whose continued efforts and struggle kept Panama case alive and the credit goes to him for this.
