Parliamentary Secretary for Planning, Development and National Reforms Dr Ibadullah Thursday said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would sweep elections in 2018 under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and also form the government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Addressing a PML-N workers’ rally in front of the Peshawar Press Club, he said the policies being pursued by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan did not match the demands of 21st century. The rally, which was taken in favour of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, was attended by a large number of PML-N workers, women wing members, besides members of the provincial assembly.
Dr Ibad said the PML-N was the only party that was working to address the problems of the people. He said many of the mega development projects launched by the PML-N’s federal government had been accomplished while the rest were near completion. The country was heading fast on the path of progress and prosperity. He said the PML-N would emerge victorious in 2018 and would again form the federal and provincial governments, including in the KP. Nawaz Sharif would continue as prime minister for next five years also, he added.
