Crime File: Youngster guns down friends for befriending sister

At least three youngsters were gunned down by their friend within the Gujar Khan Police jurisdiction on Wednesday.

A youngster identified as Shahbaz showed up in Gujar Khan and started firing at his three friends identified as Badar Ali, Abdul Rahman and Mohammad Umar after he suspected that Umar had a friendship with his sister.

SHO Sheikh Mohammad Qasim said that Shahbaz had asked Umar to cut off contacts with his sister; however, he became furious as Umar refused to listen to him, as a result, he killed him along with his two friends.

The deceased were ageing between 19 and 20 years, respectively. Police have arrested the Shahbaz and started an investigation.

2 killed in road mishaps: At least two people were killed in road mishaps in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

According to media reports, Umar lodged a complaint with Industrial area police that his father, identified as Abdul Ghaffar was going on a motorcycle when a speedy truck bearing registration no VMR-1347 hit him in the area of I-10/4; as a result, he died on the spot.

Meanwhile, another motorcyclist, identified as Asad, lost his life in a road mishap within the jurisdiction of Gujar Khan Police.

Man killed in hit-and-run: A man has been killed in a hit and run incident within the Karachi Company Police jurisdiction.

Sub-Inspector Mohammad Afzal informed police that a man was crossing the road when he was crushed to death by a speedy car driven recklessly by an unidentified driver.

The body was shifted to local hospital for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.
