LAHORE; As the temperatures in Pakistan rise, unannounced power outages are making people miserable all over the country.

Cities including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sargodha and Sheikhupura are going through long unscheduled load shedding.

Urban cities are seeing at least 14-16 hours of outages whereas an approximate 18-20 hours of power cut is happening in rural areas of Pakistan.

However, the situation is not the same all over Lahore as there are some areas which are not facing any power cut whatsoever.

GOR, Governor House, Wapda office, airport, Wapda Town workshop and all the hospitals do not undergo power cut as Lesco has declared 44 feeders and industrial independent feeders as loadshedding free.

  1. And they said the electricity crises will end by 2018. We are nearing it and the load shedding increases. What do we expect our children to grow into? Few angry, stubborn, disoriented mobsters I guess. If they cannot sleep properly, what development are we offering them? These maniacs running loose at the government level must be electrocuted for this so called “planned governance”.
And i have not even started to talk about the parents who can not sleep properly and cannot go to work with a healthily rested mind.
