MARDAN: Police have arrested three more suspects in connection to the Mashal Khan murder case.
Three more persons were arrested by police in the Mardan lynching incident, taking the toll of total arrested suspects to 19.
A student of a Journalism Department of the Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan district was shot dead and another was injured by fellows on charges of ‘blasphemes’ or ‘unacceptable’ remarks, according to officials and police on Thursday. Graphic video footage from the scene shows dozens of men outside the hostel kicking and hurling projectiles at a body sprawled on the ground.
Earlier, two more suspects involved in the lynching of Abdul Wali Khan University student Mashal Khan were arrested after being identified through footage.
