Avoid confrontational politics, please

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co-Chairman and former President of Pakistan Asif Ai Zardari, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Isaaf (PTI) Chairman  Imran Khan , whose parties are in power in the centre and in the provinces,  have been visiting different parts of the country  and  addressing  public gatherings  as part of their meet the people campaigns every now and then. They are doing so quite regularly making all sorts of announcements  to woo the prospective voters thus accelerating pace of political activities as the next general election are due to be held about one year from now.

But it is somehow not appreciable at all that instead of telling the people, the prospective voters of one or the other party, as to what their federal and provincial governments have been doing so far    for their welfare and well-being and what they plan to do on coming into power next time ,  they somehow prefer to pinpoint each other’s faults, defects,  shortcomings and failings in serving the people.

People are the better judge and they know who is working for their welfare and well-being and who is not. If there is something very wrong in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta or elsewhere, the people there know much better and surely are going to vote in the coming elections on the basis of performance of the present ruling parties at the national and provincial levels only. So, let the people decide according to their conscious and avoid any sort of confrontation at all, please.
