Accomplice of absconding Amir of Daesh held

Security forces during their search operation apprehended Lahore wing Amir of Daesh Umar alias Sufyan, an accomplice of Azeem Abu Fauji, on Monday.

Sources said that the suspect Umar alias Sufyan was apprehended from the area of Cantt.

The accused was the resident of Multan, who provided accommodation to the terrorists of banned outfit on rent.

Meanwhile, security forces carried out a search operation in Bhatta Chowk and nabbed two alleged facilitators of Charing Cross incident, including Wali Khan and his one other accomplice.

Meanwhile, two more suspects—Ramzan Khan and an Afghan national—have been apprehended from the area of Cantt. Both of these are stated to be facilitators in Baidian road incident.

All four suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
