Bahria Town to unveil dancing fountain on April 16

KARACHI: Karachi’s Bahria Town is all set to formally unveil a dancing fountain—a ceremony for the test performance was held on March, 23 and was attended by a large group of crowd—on April 16, 2017.

The fountain, comprising 250 plus fountain jets, water jets reaching 180 feet high, flames throwers, and two water screens with six lasers green, and 350 LED lighting projectors and two HD4k video projectors, is cut out to attract tourists.

The management is making special arrangements to hold a grand ceremony for its official unveiling.

Ever since the test performance, the site has become popular among the residents of Bahria Town and other areas in Karachi. In addition, the fountains are attracting a large number of tourists visiting Karachi from other cities of Pakistan and from all over the world.

The statement issued by the Bahria town said, “Bahria Fountain is a reflection of Bahria Town’s commitment to introduce international standard residential, commercial, hospitality, health, educational, shopping, and leisure projects in Pakistan, particularly Bahria Town Karachi which is the largest private real estate development project in Pakistan.”

It further stated, “the fountain has been created by internationally acclaimed and award-winning architects who have to their credit an endless list of modern-day wonders of the world, including Singapore Sentosa Fountain, Shanghai Disneyland Park, Futuroscope in France and Dubai Canal Waterfall.

Hyatt Regency Hotel, Saudi German Hospital, Harley Street Clinic London, International Theme Park, International Award Winning Greenvalley Premium Hypermarket, Night Safari, 36-hole PGA Standard Night-lit Golf course and Roots Millennium.”
