Startling new revelations prove Col Habib abducted by Indian spooks

After days of extensive investigations into the mysterious disappearance of Lt Col (retd) Mohammad Habib Zahir, new evidence has been found, according to which, the trail of abductors of the former army officer goes into India. It has now been established that Indian spooks entrapped the former army officer and the job offered to him in Nepal was a bait.

This trap reflects that India has resorted to dirty tricks in desperation after the exposure of its involvement in terrorism and terror financing in Pakistan. Kulbhushan Jhadev, an agent of RAW (Indian spy agency) and a serving naval officer, was captured in Balochistan for terrorist financing and acts of sabotage in Sindh and Balochistan.

Moreover, the documents available with Pakistan Today suggest that the investigators have traced the United Kingdom (UK) cell phone number (00447451203722), which was used by someone named Mark Thomson to invite Lt Col (retd) Habib Zahir to visit Nepal for the interview. It has also countered the previous claims that the phone number was a computer-generated number to trap the abductee.

It is not the first time that Indian intelligence agencies have used UK soil for subversive acts against Pakistan. Indian intelligence officers have also been using British soil for subversive acts in Karachi through Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) operatives and funding to MQM for terrorist activities in Karachi. The revelation suggests that the Pakistan government is likely to approach the British authorities for assistance in the probe.

The family of the abducted officer has also approached the United Nations working group on enforced or involuntary disappearances, seeking immediate recovery. Indian involvement has also been proved by the footage of Col Habib being received by an Indian citizen at the airport in Nepal.

Moreover, the investigators have also found some new clues which suggest that the disappearance of the abducted Pakistani is a fit case of entrapment and it is now an established fact that Indian intelligence agencies abducted Col Habib from Nepal’s bordering city with India.

Perhaps, Indian intelligence trapped Col Habib to make a case of a prisoner swap with Indian spy Kulbhushan Jhadav. However, they have badly failed as both cases draw no parallels. Jhadav’s case is a clear cut espionage and anti-state matter, whereas Col Habib was trapped into kidnapping.

Lt Col Habib served in the artillery, had retired from service on Oct 31, 2014, and was employed in Rafhan Mills at Faisalabad as chief security officer. As an ambitious person, who retired from the army early in his career, Col Habib had reportedly posted his CV on the social media website LinkedIn and a United Nations website.

In January this year, a person named Mark Thomson from a UK cell number (00447451203722) contacted Col Habib through this email:career@stratsoluotions.biz, stating that he has been shortlisted for the job of the vice president/zonal director. The record of the email conversation is also available with Pakistan Today.

According to the family of the abudctee, Col Habib was offered a salary package of US$3,500-8,500 per month and was asked to visit Kathmandu, Nepal, for the interview on April 6, 2017. He was sent a business class ticket from Lahore-Oman-Kathmandu by Oman Airlines. Travel records show that the officer travelled to Oman by flight number WY344 on April 5. One Javed Ansari received Muhammad Habib at Oman and handed him over a Nepal cell number (009779813848689).

The investigators have also found a website (stratsolutions.biz) hosted in India by Big-Rock. Presently, the website has been closed and no data is available.

Their twitter account is also closed now, whereas the hosting service is Bigrock.in. The web domain and email hosting providing services are also from India. The address of the hosting company is “Near Andheri Subway, Old Nagardas Road, Andheri (East), Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.” The Big Rock admin contact number is +9122307979900—an Indian number. The server being used for the website is also hosting many other sites in India, like Taj Mehal (tajmehal.gov.in).

The source code of both Tajmahal and stratsolutions sites are also same, while the coding styles are also identical.

It was also noticed that the website contacts were static and no change was made for the past one year and even the advertised vacancies were the same.

The record shows that Habib arrived in Kathmandu on April 6, 2017, and the same day he left Kathmandu Airport for Lumbini by Buddha Air. At 1300 on April 6, 2017, he sent a message from his cell to his wife that he has landed at Lumbini—municipality 5kms away from the Indian border safely. Since then, his cell numbers (Nepal and Pakistan) are switched off and no trace of him has been found.
