A doctor was gunned down after being called to check a patient on Friday.
As soon as Dr Zulfiqar left his house in Khada market area, two unidentified persons started firing at him, leaving him fatally injured.
The injured was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi but was later shifted to a private hospital due to lack of facilities there. The doctor later succumbed to his injuries.
Police said that investigation was underway to ascertain if it was a terror incident or doctor was killed due to some old enmity.
The police have gathered all the evidence and started an investigation.
