The security forces claimed to have gunned down three alleged terrorists and recovered huge cache of weapons and explosives during search operations in Taunsa and Turbat areas.
On a tip off, the security forces conducted search operation in Taunsa area on Thursday, where the terrorists started firing at the security forces. The security forces retaliated and shot dead three terrorists.
According to ISPR, security forces foiled a major terror bid on Thursday in Turbat and recovered weapons buried in large quantity. They also recovered weapons, explosives and other equipments.
During search operations in South Waziristan and Upper Dir areas, the security personnel recovered explosive tunnels, hand grenades, cell phones, Indian branded plastic drums and other explosives.
Meanwhile, Rangers and the police conducted joint search operations in different areas of Hafizabad and rounded 57 suspected persons including 16 Afghans under violation of Foreign Act.
The personnel claimed to have recovered huge cache of weapons, explosives, G-3, SMGS, shotgun, Pistol and huge rounds of bullets.
