A petition has been filed in the Sindh High Court (SHC) seeking removal of former Petroleum minister Dr Asim’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
In the petition, the counsel for Dr Asim took the plea that his client is unwell. He has a backache and needs a surgery; therefore, his name must be removed from the list so that he can go abroad for the surgery.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Interior Ministry and others have been made respondents in the plea.
