GUYANA: Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur said in an interview that players must get rid of 20th century cricket and adapt the modern game to survive in the team.
The head coach accepted the fact that Pakistan team lack power hitters which is the main reason of not being able to achieve targets. Arthur said that contemporary cricket has changed and it is not possible to win matches without aggressive batting now-a-days.
Mickey Arthur said that the involvement of Sharjeel Khan in spot-fixing, and his suspension has damaged Pakistan cricket a lot as he was a key player of the team.
He further added that he is working hard to bring improvements to the national cricket, however, things don’t change overnight.
