The Pakistan International Airlines blacklisted some passengers for misbehaving with airhostess after she asked them to stop smoking during the flight.

According to PIA statement, the national carrier’s acting CEO Nayyar Hayat directed the airline authorities to ban the passengers for their “unruly” behaviour on PK-791 with immediate effect.

“These passengers were not only smoking during the flight but also misbehaved with cabin crew,” it said. UK police arrested a British man of Pakistani origin for allegedly verbally abusing an airhostess and smoking during the same flight on Wednesday.

When PIA spokesperson Daniyal Gillani was contacted, he said that an investigation committee was probing the issue.
