Missing person case: IHC summons heads of intelligence agencies, Islamabad SSP

The Islamabad High Court (IHC), while expressing displeasure over the non-recovery of missing persons, has summoned the heads of intelligence agencies, and SSP Islamabad on May 9.

IHC judge Mohsin Ali Akhtar Gilani took up the missing person’s case for hearing on Wednesday.

During the course of hearing it was informed to the court that driver of missing person Imran had come home but he was not in a mental state to say anything.

Justice Mohsin Ali while reprimanding defence ministry and police officials remarked, why these missing persons have not been recovered as yet when they are in the country”.

Give them next date. Notices must be sent to all the law enforcement agencies that if the missing persons are not recovered till next hearing then the cases will be registered against ISI director general, MI, and SSP Islamabad. And then this decision will be taken up to Supreme Court, he remarked.

It is pertinent to mention here that the person was lifted from red zone by some persons wearing Islamabad police uniform and vehicle with fake number plate was used.
