Based on the special directions of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Dr Haider Ashraf, a mock exercise was held at Qila Gujjar Singh Police Lines for preparation to maintain law and order and avoid any untoward incident in the city here on Tuesday.
The mock exercise was performed to foil the nefarious designs of terrorists and to give first aid to those injured in the case of any unfortunate incident. More than 50 officials of the police, two squads of the Elite Force, and an ambulance van took part in the mock exercise that was carried out under the supervision of Headquarters Superintendent of Police (SP) Atif Nazir.
The DIG Operations urged citizens to cooperate with the police to ensure the maintenance of law and order in the city.
