ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has strongly condemned the brutal killing of eight youth in Indian-held Kashmir.
In a statement, he urged the international community to force India to put an immediate end to the ongoing bloodshed of innocent Kashmiris and hold a transparent, free and fair plebiscite under the auspices of UN to ascertain the wishes of Kashmiris.
He said, “India continued to deny fundamental human rights to the people of occupied Kashmir with scant respect for life.”
Sartaj Aziz said, “The continuing Indian brutalities and unprecedented violence by Indian occupation forces in the held valley are crimes against humanity.”
The adviser said that despite Indian state terrorism and repression the steadfast resolve displayed by Kashmiris sends a clear message to India that they remain undeterred in their goal for the realisation of the right to self-determination.
