Police foiled a terror bid in Peshawar by arresting three alleged terrorists in Peshawar who were planning to carry out an explosion here on Sunday.
According to an official of the police control, the terrorists were arrested while they were trying to plant a bomb at Northern Bypass.
He informed that police have recovered 5 kilogrammes of explosive material and further said that the arrested terrorists hailed from Peshawar. The terrorists were shifted to unknown place for further interrogation.
Army foils terror bid: The army has seized an explosive-laden vehicle near Chaman and arrested two suspects, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday.
According to the ISPR, 80kg explosive material was fitted in the vehicle that was prepared in Kandahar and brought to Pakistan for use in a terror attack.
The ISPR said the vehicle was seized in an operation that was carried on the basis of intelligence reports.
Identities of the suspects were not shared with media.
