KARACHI: One person was killed and another injured in two different road accidents in the metropolis on Sunday, rescue sources said.
A 28-year-old man, Sanam died on the spot when he was hit by a speeding vehicle at Do Minute Chowrangi in New Karachi area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, a 22-year-old man, Sajjad, sustained severe injuries when he was knocked down by a fast-moving vehicle while crossing the road in Landhi area. He was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment.
