A special coin designed in honour of the renowned humanitarian Abdul Sattar Edhi was issued on 31st March, 2017. Edhi, who was the founder of Pakistan’s biggest welfare organisation, died last year. The coin’s design was a token of small gratitude of his infinite hard work for the humanity by the State Bank of Pakistan. We can never thank him for his devotion and esteem for humanity but we can reminisce. This was such a good step taken by the government in the memory of Abdul Sattar Edhi. The government and the public should also arrange financial sustenance for this organisation.
