ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has summoned Senate session on Monday, April 10, whereas he has also convened a National Assembly session on the 12th of April.
The President has summoned the National Assembly session in exercise of powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, according to a news release issued on Saturday.
The upper and lower houses of Parliament are expected to discuss the overall political and security situation in the country in their respective sessions.
