Newlywed bride allegedly killed by in-laws

ATTOCK: In another grueling case of violence against women, a three-month-old bride was shot dead by her in-laws early Friday morning in Attock’s tehsil Boota, alleged the bride’s father.

Sheik Al-Hassan Shah said his daughter, identified as 26-year-old Saeeda Bano, was often assaulted by her in-laws. However, the conditions deteriorated after her husband went to Dubai to look for a job and the intensity of in-laws’ violence against Saeeda increased.
