According to a report, it was claimed on Saturday that cricketer Tymal Mills has been paid approximately INR 242,918 for each ball in the IPL 2017. He was signed for £1.4 million this year by Royal Challengers Bangalore administration.
The premier league kicked off earlier this month and the final match is scheduled on May 21 however, the administration states on its website that the schedule is subject to change.
According to the stats, debutant IPL English player who is playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore has been paid INR 242,918.
Mills had earlier played for Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League 2016.
His debut performance in the first match of this season against Sunrisers Hyderabad is being hailed as the best of his career so far.
In conditions that were declared the most suitable for batting by experts, Mills took a crucial wicket of Yuvraj Singh and conceded 31 runs in four overs.
Singh was sent off the pitch by left-arm pacer’s delivery that was over 90mph.
For Mills who had to mull his retirement around two years ago as his back was declared not to withstand demands of first-class cricket, IPL debut is indeed not less than another piece of a fairytale.
