Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Friday said that the PML-N government had faced many challenges after coming into power but had overcome them and put the country on the path of progress.
Incidents of terrorism have been reduced while steps are being taken to address the energy shortage, he said while talking to a private news channel.
The minister said that international organisations were appreciating the country’s economic indicators which were a result of the untiring efforts of the finance minister and his team.
Responding to a question, he said that according to a recent survey conducted by the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) was reported as the country’s most popular party.
LUMS is a top ranking institution in the country and the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) should question the credibility of the survey, he said.
