Provincial Minister for Primary and Secondary Health Khawaja Imran Nazir, distributed cheques to those injured in the Bedian Road bomb blast on behalf of the chief minister of Punjab at the Lahore General Hospital here on Friday.
He gave away four cheques of Rs 600,000 each to seriously injured persons Rehman, Shakeel, Aslam, and Farhan.
Talking to the media, Kh Imran Nazir said that cheques worth Rs 300,000 each would be given to those with minor injuries. The minister asked the injured about the treatment facilities they were being provided, upon which they expressed their satisfaction and thanked the doctors, staff, and government.
Kh Imran Nazir also prayed for the departed and for the early recovery of those injured.
Medical Superintendent Dr Ghulam Sabir and other administrators were also present on the occasion.
