District Police Officer Dr Mian Syed Ahmad has said that police would ensure foolproof security to minorities because the minorities played an important role in the development.
While chairing a meeting here on Friday, he said that Islam treated all communities as equal, guaranteeing their rights. Pakistani minorities always played their eminent and commendable role in nation building and social welfare initiatives, he added. He said the police would issue arms licenses to minorities soon. He urged the police officers for ensuring foolproof security arrangements to the worship places of the minorities.
