PM, Punjab CM express grief over Lahore Bedian Road blast

LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister(CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the suicide blast that occurred on Lahore’s Bedian Road.

According to details, PM Nawaz has paid tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan Army.

Meanwhile, Shahbaz Sharif has ordered the authorities to ensure proper medical treatment to the victims. He has also directed Punjab Inspector General (IG) to submit a report of the mishap as early as possible.

Earlier today, at least six people including four army officials were martyred while 15 sustained severe injuries in a suicide blast. The blast occurred in a van which was standing near Manawala chowk.

Police and Rangers personnel arrived at the blast scene and cordoned off the area. Initial investigation suggested that the attacker targeted the census team and was aged between 18-24 years.

  1. Fools.. stop supporting terrorism.. or it will kill ur family and friends.. You justify terrorism in India because of Kashmir suppression.. but what happen when China suppress ur muslim brothers.. at least in India they have freedom to protest and have same rights as of other Indians.. No country will allow its part to be separated and kashmir is no exception.. Can you imagine baluchistan to be separated from pakistan ? If you don't wake up now then sooner or later ur country is going to be a slave of china.. they have spent huge and they will recover anyhow..
