National Highways and Motorway Police’s DIG Ghulam Rasual Zahid, while speaking to the police officers in police darbar at NH&MP Lines Headquarter Islamabad, said that the success of the Motorway Police is based upon the teamwork and collective wisdom and this doctrine is being followed in the successful institutions of the world.
He said stressed upon officers of motorway police to behave with the commuters with great respect and courtesy, adding that rule of law must be ensured in all respects and no discrimination is made because of any rank or respect.
The discipline plays a crucial role in the success of any organisation and helps in polishing professionalism. Honesty is our belief and courtesy and rendering help to road users is our recognition. The NH&MP is a service oriented force and provision of prompt help to the distressed road users is the hallmark of the department.
AIG Khurram Shahzad Haider, CPO Headquarter Amjad Hussain were also present on the occasion. DIG Rasual Zahid listened to the problems of the officers and issued necessary instructions to redress their grievances.
