Corps Commander visits CMH Lahore

LAHORE: Corps Commander Lieutenant General Sadiq Ali visited Combined Military Hospital Wednesday morning to enquire after the health of people injured in the blast on Bedian Road in the city.

He added that the deceased lost their lives while fulfilling their national duty. Four of those who lost their lives were army personnel, according to the Punjab government spokesperson, Malik Ahmed.

On Wednesday morning, at least six persons were martyred in a suicide explosion that targetted a census team and the accompanying security personnel, said government and security officials.

At least 15 people were injured in the explosion.
