Punjab Police to wear new uniforms from today

LAHORE: Almost 31,000 Punjab Police personnel have been provided with the new olive green uniforms which they will be seen wearing from today. 

The Punjab government has decided to change police uniforms, a process which will be completed in eight phases. The uniforms of the Lahore police would be changed in the first phase, whereas the whole conversion would take 9 months. According to sources, the field staff would be distinguished by a different design than staff working in offices.

They said that the Lahore police and central police would be given olive green coloured uniforms and that the field staff would be allowed to wear T-shirts and p-caps in the summers.

  1. There should be a national not provincial police to share data and intelligence. They can also share this Latin American style police dress.
