Strict action against school heads, teachers over poor results

The provincial government has decided to take strict action against school heads and teachers in 36 districts of Punjab including Rawalpindi over poor results in annual examinations in primary and middle schools.

According to details, heads of the schools and relevant teachers will have to face either forced retirement or dismissal where the result is less than 10 per cent in annual examination. Meanwhile, the annual promotions and increments of teachers and schools heads would be stopped where the results are between 11 to 50 percent. Those schools heads and teachers will get commendation letters and prizes for better results.
