Pakistan Army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa has arrived in London on a three-day official visit, where he is scheduled to meet with British political and military leaders during his time in the country, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Maj-Gen Asif Ghafoor.
Sources have told that the COAS will address think tanks in London and will present Pakistan’s military viewpoint before the policy makers.
He is accompanied by his key lieutenants, including DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor. The visit has been arranged by UK’s Ministry of Defence (MOD) and it’s managed by the MOD officials.
The army chief will meet the leadership of British armed forces and will hold talks on further enhancing cooperation.
Sources in Pakistan High Commission have confirmed that the army chief will meet members of Pakistani community at a dinner and will get to hear their thoughts.
Over the weekend, the army chief had met with local and foreign participants in the multinational Pakistan Army Team Spirit competition in Jhelum.
