KARACHI: Sindh Assembly witnessed another noisy session when Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Faisal Subzwari said Bagh Ibne Qasim is Karachi’s property, as the provincial government made a ‘royal’ decision in one night and took it back.

Faisal Subzwari accused the government that Karachi is being converted into a jungle of buildings after taking bribery, and ministers sold jobs to their own workers. He said that Karachi’s property is very valuable and even its one acre is worth millions.

Local Government Minister Jam Khan Shoro tried to answer the allegations but opposition created a commotion and raised slogans of ‘shame’. Things were not completely settled when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Khurram Sher Zaman demanded resignation from Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah over the issue of polluted water.

Meanwhile, Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani kept on trying to calm the members just like a school teacher but could not succeed. Afterwards, MQM parliamentary leader Syed Sardar Ahmad objected that provincial government is itself violating the acts that have been passed by the assembly.

Durrani replied to Syed Sardar Ahmad and advised him to go to court if there is some sort of violation.MQM MPA Kamran Akhtar asked the question that who is Manzoor Qadir Kaka and where has he gone after doing corruption worth billions? He said that Manzoor Kaka was known as the front man of important political leaders. He further said that if political leaders are facing trials after coming back to Pakistan, then why is he not brought back?
