Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Friday announced that overseas Pakistanis could submit their online admission applications by April 7 with a nominal late fee as part of a special plan aimed at providing educational facilities to overseas Pakistanis, particularly those living in the Middle East.
The plan includes providing online study materials and arranging examination facilities in countries from where applications will be submitted.
The university has accordingly set its admission schedule for overseas Pakistanis living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, and Bahrain, as per directions of the AIOU Vice Chancellor Shahid Siddiqui.
Pakistanis stationed in these countries can submit their admissions forms along with the prescribed fee in foreign currencies within the stipulated date.
Programs offered in the spring 2017 semester include Allisan-ul-Arabi (Basic Arabic Course), Arabic Bol Chall, Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation), Higher Secondary School Certificate (FA), bachelor programs and short term courses.
