National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) Inspector General (IG) Shaukat Hayat on Friday addressed the passing-out parade of the 6th Probationary Course consisting of 93 patrol officers at the NH&MP Police Training College, Sheikhupura.
Patrol Officer Shumaila Aslam achieved the first position in academics, Patrol Officer Shahzaman in shooting, Patrol Officers Amina Khan and Tariq Ali in discipline and Patrol Officer Muhammad Javaid in parade.
The NH&MP IG said that the motorway police was distinguished because of its professional performance and that the training college had played a central role in this achievement.
He appreciated the efforts of Training College Commandant DIG Khalid Mehmood and the staff of the college for effectively running the college and imparting modern training.
Earlier, in his welcome address, the commandant said that he tried his best to raise the standards of training by adopting the latest methods.
IG Shaukat Hayat also laid a wreath at a monument for martyrs at the college.
