KARACHI: A heatwave has engulfed most parts of Sindh as the city of Nawab Shah and Larkana registered 43-degree centigrade.
According to a private television channel, heat wave also affected several other cities such as Mohenjo-Daro, and Sukkur where the temperature as high as 41-degree centigrade was recorded.
The temperature rose to 40 degree Celsius in Dadu and Hyderabad areas, however as compared to the last two days, the temperature in Karachi was observed to be lower.
In addition, heat wave also engulfed several plain areas of Punjab, including Rahim Yar Khan, Khanpur and Bahawalpur, where the temperature rose to a higher degree.
