KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has decided to make a new political alliance against ‘opponents’.
According to reports, the PPP co-chairman has asked his party stalwarts with contacting political leaders in order to chalk out a future strategy for the party.
Furthermore, the new alliance will be revealed after Supreme Court’s ruling in Panama Papers case.
PPP has also offered Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam to make an electoral alliance, according to media reports, adding that the new political grouping aims at gaining a foothold in Punjab.
On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has called the possible alliance a ‘secret deal’.
“Nawaz in Sindh & Zardari in Punjab – height of Noora Kushti between two experts in match-fixing,” he said on Twitter.
Spot on Mr Imran Khan.
