People to cast votes on performance: Marriyum

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that politics and performance cannot be separated and people would cast their votes in the next elections on the basis of service delivery.

She was talking to newsmen in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The minister said PML-N performed superbly during the last three years on all fronts, especially in terms of economic development and addressing the challenge of terrorism.

She said the present government improved prestige and honour of the country in the comity of nations, which resulted in the launch of historic initiative of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said Punjab, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, has developed to a great extent and other provinces should emulate this model.

Referring to prime minister’s visit to Hyderabad on Monday, she said the Prime Minister was working for welfare entire Pakistan. She said the prime minister wants that people of Sindh should also have similar opportunities available to other provinces. She said that is the prime minister announced a number of projects to develop Sindh and he would continue to do so in other provinces as well.
