Civil society holds protest for recovery of Engineer Ayaz Ali Jamali

BADIN: The hundreds of members of civil society of district Badin hailing from different organizations including PFF, NRDP, BDRO, FPAP, HANDS, DAMN, Sormi and others  have held a protest for the safe recovery of Sindhi engineer, Ayaz Ali Jamali, who was kidnapped by the rebels of Riek Macchar Group of South Sudan, few days back.

Hundreds of protesters carrying placards inscribed with slogans of early recovery of Engineer Ayaz Ali Jamali led by  Abida Jamali, the elder sister of the engineer;  Abida Marvi Samoon, Umar Mallah, Abdullah Turk and others marched on the main streets of the city and concluded at in front of Badin Press Club.

While addressing the protesters,  Abida Jamali, Khadim Talpur, Ramzan Rind, Ramzan Qamrani, Zafar Dharejo, Sawan Khaskheli, Umar Mallah and other representatives of the civil society Badin appealed to the federal government to take viable diplomatic efforts with the Government of Sudan and other concerned authorities for the early recovery of Engineer Ayaz Hussain Jamali.

They said that Engineer Ayaz Hussain Jamali was innocent and went to Sudan for employment. His marriage was fixed for the month of April and he was to return back; unfortunately, he was kidnapped by the rebels. They appealed for his early safe recovery and a safe return to the homeland.
