KARACHI: One person was killed and five others, wounded in various firing incidents in parts of Karachi in the late hours of Sunday.
According to details, there was one exchange of fire between drug peddlers groups in Purana Golimar area, which claimed one life, leaving three others severely injured. Police and rangers reached the spot after the incident.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Waseem while Shahid, Rehan and Abdul Basit were among the ones injured.
In another incident, some unidentified people opened fire in New Karachi and Ahsanabad areas and injured two people. Rescue teams have shifted the injured to hospital.
In an alleged Police operation in Manghupir area, one suspect was arrested; whereas a motorcycle and arms were recovered from him.
