The historical 23rd March resolution had laid the foundation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent where people could be empowered to lead their lives in respect to their religious tenets and enjoy economic freedom. Once again, this March, significant developments have been taken to empower people. For instance, March 1st 2017, Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit was conducted. After a few days, the Federal Cabinet took a decision of merging Federally-Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) with KPK along with evident reforms which will go a long way in empowering the people of FATA. The FATA Reforms will be implemented gradually ensuring smooth transition from the seven decades old FCR system to a provincial. Annually, 10 billion will be spent on development including infrastructure and other sectors. It is hoped that the government will keep bringing FATA into mainstream the people for mutual peace and progress which will empower the whole Pakistan by and large.
