Multan: Former President Asif Ali Zardari has said that courts have never given verdicts against Sharifs brothers in the past.

Addressing a press conference in Multan on Friday, he said that we are ready to contest the upcoming general elections whether the government provides us security or not.

He expressed the hope that the PPP would win the elections in Punjab and people of the province would fully support the party in next general polls adding that ruling PML-N would not hold elections earlier.

He congratulated the former federal minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi on his respectful acquaintance from the court in Hajj corruption scandal case and said that those we have levelled allegations on him should feel shame over it.

Lamenting on former Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Zardari said that he has formed his own political party and wanted to become president of the country adding that he was a political judge.

Criticising over existing rulers without calling their name, he said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is independent and busy in re-organising the party.
